Welcome to Impostor ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how Titun LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our App.

Impostor is designed with privacy in mind. We do not require user accounts, authentication, or personal information to use the core features of our App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

The App does not require account creation or login. However, you may voluntarily provide:

  • Player names entered during gameplay (stored locally on your device only)
  • Custom categories you create (stored locally on your device only)

This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

We may collect limited technical information automatically, including:

  • Device type and operating system
  • App version
  • General usage statistics (e.g., features used, session duration)
  • Crash reports and error logs

This information is collected in aggregate form and cannot be used to identify you personally.

2.3 Purchase Information

If you make in-app purchases, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.

We may receive confirmation of your subscription status from the app stores to provide you with premium features.

2.4 AI Category Generation

If you use the AI category generation feature (premium), your text prompts are sent to our AI service provider to generate category suggestions. These prompts are:

  • Processed to generate responses only
  • Not stored or used for training purposes
  • Not linked to any personal identifier

3. How We Use Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's functionality
  • Process and verify subscription status
  • Improve the App's performance and features
  • Fix bugs and troubleshoot issues
  • Generate aggregate analytics to understand usage patterns

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

The following data is stored only on your device:

  • Player names entered during gameplay
  • Custom categories you create
  • Game settings and preferences
  • AI generation usage count

This data can be deleted by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your device settings.

4.2 No Cloud Storage

We do not store your personal gameplay data, custom categories, or player names on any external servers. Your data stays on your device.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who assist in operating the App (e.g., analytics, crash reporting), under strict confidentiality agreements
  • With AI service providers for category generation (prompts only, no personal data)
  • If required by law, legal process, or government request
  • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

6.1 App Store Services

  • Apple App Store (for iOS users)
  • Google Play Store (for Android users)

These services handle payments and may collect information according to their own privacy policies.

6.2 Analytics Services

We may use analytics services to understand App usage. These services collect anonymized, aggregate data and do not identify individual users.

6.3 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat may receive anonymized device identifiers to verify subscription status. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for more information.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete such information.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Since most of your data is stored locally on your device, its security also depends on your device's security settings and practices.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

9.1 Access and Deletion

Since your gameplay data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete all App data by:

  • Uninstalling the App
  • Clearing the App's data through your device settings

9.2 Subscription Management

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions

9.3 Analytics Opt-Out

You may be able to limit analytics collection through your device settings or by contacting us.

10. International Users

If you are accessing the App from outside the United States, please be aware that any information processed may be transferred to and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since we collect minimal personal information and do not sell personal data, most CCPA provisions may not apply. Contact us for more information about your California privacy rights.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the effective date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

13. Data Retention

We retain aggregate analytics data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Since personal gameplay data is stored locally on your device, retention is entirely under your control.

Subscription status information is retained only as long as necessary to provide premium services and may be retained for a reasonable period after cancellation for accounting and legal purposes.
